Two new North Texas Preceptor Academies scheduled

The Dallas-Fort Worth Hospital Council (DFWHC) Foundation’s Workforce Center will be hosting separate North Texas Preceptor Academies, October 17 at Medical City Dallas Hospital and November 7 at the Texas Health Resources headquarters in Arlington.

The educational events are designed for registered nurses interested in learning more about precepting. Sessions will assist the beginner as well as the experienced preceptor, with speakers including representatives from North Texas hospitals and schools.

The program is from 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Cost is $60, with fee including continental breakfast and box lunch.
