Pollution is high on some days in the DFW area. Research is being conducted to determine if more people go to the emergency room on days with high pollution. Once pollution’s affect on people’s health is better understood, the more doctors can help. The Foundation provides the data and researchers to make a difference in your community.

The research collaborative is a group of community stakeholders and researchers brought together to improve community health through research initiatives and knowledge dissemination. These researchers work together to best utilize available resources making the greatest impact on community health. This group is composed of researchers from Dallas-Fort Worth universities, public health departments, hospitals and the DFWHC Foundation.
